Sustainability
With a focus on sustainability, M Resort & Spa is powered by solar technology, and we encourage our guests to do their bit towards sustainability whilst staying with us. Simple things like choosing a re-useable drink bottle, saying ‘no thank you’ to straws and switching off power points or lights when not in use, all make a small difference. Your time at M Resort & Spa is the perfect time to disconnect and enjoy the beauty of nature.
Our water is sourced directly from a water spring and filtered through a five-step process, eliminating the need for bottled water. We have therefore chosen not to sell or supply bottled water. We encouraged all our guests to BYO their favourite re-useable bottle from home. We also have re-useable drink bottles for sale, should you forget and would like to purchase one.
We make a conscious effort to source our fruit, vegetables and herbs from our resort garden or from our local villages. Our seafood is caught by local fisherman and where possible our beef and pork are locally grown and grass-fed.
Our food scraps from the restaurant are given to the chickens and the pigs in the local village. We recycle the soft drink cans and we send all Tusker beer and Cascade Sparkling Water glass bottles back to the factory for sterilising and to re-use.
We pride ourselves on supporting our local communities, through employment, donations and generating tourism for our local villagers. We highly encourage all of our guests to organise to visit the local village.

Paper and cardboard are burnt with garden waste. We discourage the use of straws but do have paper straws if you require one, and we do not use plastic accessories in our drinks.
